The Kirton In Lindsey Society

The Kirton in Lindsey Society was formed in 1987 from a group of residents interested in the history of the town and concerned that valuable information was being lost as a result of old properties being demolished and new development covering over historic sites. We are a registered charity and Civic Society. The aims of our Society are to advance the knowledge of the people in our area by the study and recording of local history, archaeology, architecture, family history, dialect and local customs.

We have a programme of indoor talks from September to June on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Town Hall. Members, non-members and visitors are all welcome. For further details go to our website:
